Do-it-Yourself Vegetarian Burger for diets high in protein

Vegetarian burgers are a healthy choice menu and convenient for those after a high protein diet for weight loss. Vegetarian Burgers
Serves 4.
Ingredients:
2 cloves garlicGarlic, peeled
2 (16 ounce) cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chili sauce
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
2 medium onions, thinly sliced vegetables
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons canola oil
4 whole wheat hamburger buns, toasted
Lettuce, tomato slices, onions, pickles, cheese slices (optional)
To prepare burgers, instead of beans, garlic, mayonnaise, chili sauce and limeJuice in the bowl of a food processing. Pulse process until well blended but still lumpy. Add the bread crumbs, green onions, salt and pepper. Divide into four equal parts and shape into pie on a plate covered in plastic. Cover with plastic wrap and well in the refrigerator until at least one hour or overnight.
Just before cooking vegetarian burgers dredge in flour, shaking off excess. In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Pan fry the meatballsto 3 minutes per side or until brown and crispy on the outside and heated through.
Place the cooked veggie burgers on hamburger buns cut open and toast with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and cheese.
